THE CREATIVE PROCESS IS NOT SINGULAR OR CONSISTENT.

NEITHER ARE THE RESULTS.

Kris is a visualist, most interested in experience and light and how it describes to us the world in front of us. Memory, depression, love, family, education and imagination make up the core of his creative sources but all of them are rooted in observation.

With his first real experiences with photography and using a Nikon F2 and 50mm 1.8 lens, he found a shallow depth of field surprisingly real to how he saw his own creative thoughts - specific enough but messy around the edges. The lens itself, the physical barrier/facilitator of the photographs was the hook that connected him to photography.

Kris is a curious person, finds the impermanence of life inspiring and absurd. He enjoys thinking and working creatively with any medium and aspires to make more installation and real-time/life-size works going forward with mixed-media, constructed works and more.
