The original 1925iginal Sellwood Bridge opened in December, 1925. Last night marked the last night it would be open to any traffic and the public was allowed to walk across it one last time. I was able to get a few shots from through, on then under the old girl. There's not a lot to be missed but I do like the gothic arched concrete details that will not be replicated on the new one. They mimic the northern most bridge in town, the St. John's over Cathedral Park. Thanks Sellwood Bridge!
Trying to drum up some business by starting to regularly book for portrait work. If you're interested please find me at your convenience.

When you arrive too late and the campground is full you just pack your stuff and start up the trail. Found an old logging road, slept under the stars without a tent.
Thank you Lensbaby for offering your support and encouragement of Mumble Street and our portraiture with the Edge 80 Optic. I look forward to seeing what great imagery awaits!
These are probably THE two images that really kickstarted what is now Mumble Street Stories (formerly Box).
Want to go back at night as the street lights I think would be rather nice to see.

Wow! Thanks for the turnout at Zenbu Sushi for another installment of Mumble Street Stories! We got some great portraits and continue to learn a lot about our community through the precious sources of our individual community members. Thank you! (click through images)
Our initial attempt was a success! We set up a rough run at the Sellwood Farmer's Market last week and had a few dozen inquiries with close to 20 agreeing to sit and tell us their story! We are very excited to move forward with the project based on the success, the feedback and the results we got that afternoon.
Mumble on over to Mumble Street Stories and watch for updates. Nothing will be posted however until we get the stories from the sitters. So if you're a sitter and you're reading this…get your story in!! We are very excited to hear the answer to "Who am I?"
Thanks to everyone who stopped in and we look forward to meeting you at our next event - Wednesday, Septmeber 24th at Cloud Cap Games on SE Lexington at Milwaukie. Come in, sit for a portrait, get ready to tell us your story!
Thank you!!! Kris
Worked with friend and photographer Jason Langer at the Analog Cafe last night here in Portland. Lady clowns and two that weren't. Here are a few of my quick cell phone shots.
Kind of last minute but if anyone out there is heading to the Sellwood Farmer's Market today please stop by and visit us 'neath the green canopy on the grass. We're taking portraits and getting stories. Gavin and I will be there meeting, greeting, listening and photograph. Grab some of the goods from the market, stop in and say hi to us!
Move to Mumble Street!! Come by, tell us about yourself, sit for a portrait!

Quick up and back to the Pool of the Winds and an ode to Sus' left foot before surgery. Inspiring.
A summer afternoon. Spinny things. Try not to vomit. Repeat.
Wherever or whatever your "beach" is I hope you find it and you float above it.

Been spending a lot of time in the trees lately. This past week another year found me with a few more greys and few more pounds. I took them all to the trees to see how they got along.
