THE CREATIVE PROCESS IS NOT SINGULAR OR CONSISTENT.
NEITHER ARE THE RESULTS.
I am a visualist, most interested in experience and how it describes the world to us over reality. Memory, love, family, health, education and imagination make up the core of my creative sources but all of it is rooted in observation.
Photography allowed a relatable frame onto the world inside my head - specific enough but messy around the edges. The glass and machine were both a physical barrier and magic facilitator of communication across the space between us and the world. Things have changed, put too many holes in my sails and I struggle to stay afloat.
Still, I remain curious. The impermanence of life is humbling, inspiring and absurd. Stardust. I try to think and work creatively with photography and other media as I work through a few difficult things. It is still my hope to create more work - temporal, large scale, and across many considerations.
Thank you. I appreciate your time.
